HO Resin Freight Car Gallery

The Resin Builders 4 U HO resin freight car gallery is a sampling of the hundreds of HO resin freight cars, passenger cars and cabooses that we built over the years. 

Most of the models listed are Sunshine Models Kits.  Some are Speedwitch Media Models.  What is unique about all of these models is that they are custom built and prototypical. 

As you know Sunshine Model Kits are in high demand and the wait for an order is sometimes six months to a year.  Sunshine Model Kits are all prototypical and unusual in some way.

The Building Process of Model Freight Cars

 

Whether you purchase your freight cars thru us or send us your own freight cars, the building process is the same.  Once the freight cars are received, the parts are carefully separated and professionally cleaned.  The main bodies of the freight cars are assembled.  Weights are added to NMRA specifications.  Then couplers and trucks are added.  Couplers are set to correct height.  Detail parts are added as per prototype.  The bodies are professionally painted and decals are added.  Weathering is optional as per your specifications.
