At our local club Jim worked on landscape scenery including mountains, trees, and groundcover. Jim is currently working on the church and cemetery scene for the Dover Subdivision. He also teaches others how to do scenery.
Jim’s landscaping techniques include hand making trees, applying unique ground coverings, and rough cutting mountains.
Jim builds Athearn and Roundhouse freight car kits. He also builds and finishes F&C resin freight car kits including cabooses and boxcars. He works on Bowser steam engines.
Jim collects steam engines, diesel engines, freight cars, and cabooses. He prefers B & O eastern roads. Jim runs his engines at different clubs in the area.
